Thats disgusting. Yuck.not that close.
Ann,I just had to let you know how much I have enjoyed reading your blog today! I just found it - I've obviously not been blog stalking enough lately ;-) Anyway, I feel the Good Lord led me to your blog because this will be my first year teaching Kindergarten ... only my 3rd year teaching (other 2 were in 5th grade math ... long story, but boils down to only job available)... and now the kicker ... I will turn 50 this year!!! Needless to say, I was very nervous! However, I now feel like this is going to be great!!! I will be 25 years older than my fellow K teachers, and that fact has been weighing heavily on me, but you have given me some much needed confidence in myself! Thanks for sharing all your great ideas and please continue!!Lori
Lori, I am glad to be an encourager. I was 56 when I came back to teaching -- took 27 years off to raise kids. So I knew very little about teaching kindergarten, but a LOT about kids. A wonderful teacher down the hall helped me thru the first year by answering a million questions.I am a MUCH better teacher now than I was in 1970 when I started. You have TPT, blogs, Google, and PINTEREST. Here's my first day blog -- hope it helps! http://annspencer-annspencer.blogspot.com/search/label/First%20Day%20of%20Kindergarten
I love it when you comment!!
